Hi! I am probably somewhere being the founder of Journey Foods, a food tech company that supports cutting-edge product management and data services to food and beverage companies in over 14 countries. As a biologist turned serial entrepreneur, I’ve developed high-growth, internationally recognized technology, and food businesses with a great community of supporters and bright individuals.
After two years in DC working in Obama’s White House and another two years at Google and Venture Capital, I bring a unique lens to problem-solving. My accomplishments have been featured on MIT 35 under 35, CNBC, Forbes, USA Today, Wired, TechCrunch, Entrepreneur Magazine and more.
What keeps me going? I drive innovation talks and projects around the world. I build with passionate creatives. I design art projects inspired by food stories.
I am based in Austin, TX and enjoy collecting art, investing in other founders, growing fruit trees, and supporting filmmakers. I am currently researching and drawing inspiration for an upcoming book on Food and Culture. When I am on the road, I enjoy exploring black culinary and architectural heritage sites around the world.
